My reviews of Mr. Kauffman: he delivered a perfect sound for our great wedding! First he took the time to learn our special requests. And then he played those with heart. Above all he was professional and attentive to all of the concerns my wife and I had during the wedding preparation process. And as a result of that, I would more than recommend his services to anyone seeking stylish acoustic guitar for their wedding or any event for that matter.

From our first reviews of Ian's website we knew who we should have handle the music for our wedding. Ian was very accommodating and creative by suggesting the music we needed, he even guided us the whole way through giving us insight that we had never thought of. The music was the highlight (aside from us) on our special day. All the guests raved about the sound and wanted to have him perform at their wedding. Honestly it was worth it to have him play at our wedding and we would not have it any other way! And just as important he is in the Southern California area. So thank you Ian and the rest of the crew!

We absolutely loved Ian and how he made us feel. So we decided to go with him after looking around the internet and reviews of the other guitar players in Southern California. But something special stood out about his talent that the others fell short in. His abilities seemed to be a notch above the rest and not trying to sound bad but they were mediocre compared to him. Further more, he not only was super polite but put on the most entertaining show that he almost stole the crowd! So glad we found him. He had some great sound samples but the live show was a total mind popper! Thank you Ian!

You guys rocked the house but my favorite section was your solo guitar master performance and the guests went crazy about the music. Nothing could rival how beautiful the music was at our nuptials and reception. Communication leading up to and throughout the event was second to none. Ian played the most beautiful music at our wedding ceremony. Hearing the guitar as people started to arrive had such a calming effect. I knew we were in good hands! Most of what he played was classical works, which we requested, and it really made our ceremony feel unique. Not to mention, as a planner, releasing tables to a buffet line can be a stressful task, as you do not want guests waiting in an endless line. This not only demonstrates his flexibility in his services, but also his understanding for tasteful execution. The wedding I coordinated occurred on New Years Eve, so Ian was expected to provide 10+ hours of engaging music – a task he accomplished flawlessly. WOW! Ian and co. made it happen!! From the first day, Ian was extremely responsive to my emails and phone calls. I would email him from my office in San Diego and he would respond immediately. Ian provided my ceremony music (violin and guitar) and cocktail hour entertainment. Our wedding had a subtle honeymoon theme running through it. Anything we wanted Ian came through on everything! We knew we wanted a salsa dance as our entrance song, but we didn’t know which one. Ian picked out the perfect piece on the spot.

Hats off to this guy! Very organized and professional. I needed a classical guitarist at our ceremony and a jazz pianist at our cocktail hour.
