Solo acoustic guitar is the most neighbour-friendly live music there is: amplification stays modest, the low frequencies that travel through walls barely exist in a guitar signal, and I can move the last set indoors or drop the volume in seconds. Most of the city tolerates reasonable amplified sound into the nine-to-ten p.m. range; wrapping amplified music by then keeps everyone on your street happy.
