The Inland Empire spans two enormous counties, and its wedding venues are as varied as the landscape: Temecula's wineries and hilltop estates, Riverside's historic hotels and citrus groves, Redlands' Victorian gardens and orange-grove barns, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario's ballrooms and country clubs, Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear's mountain lodges, and the desert resorts around Palm Springs and Palm Desert. I perform at all of them, and the compact solo setup is a genuine advantage where power, space and load-in are limited.

Wine Country Weddings: Temecula & Beyond
Temecula is the Inland Empire's signature wedding setting, and Spanish guitar is its natural soundtrack. A typical wine-country day runs classical pieces for a ceremony among the vines, Spanish romances and rumba flamenca on the terrace as the sun drops, and bossa nova and jazz standards under a long-table dinner. Winery venues tend to be outdoors with limited power and strict volume rules; my battery-powered rig and a solo footprint solve both. Temecula and Murrieta are within my normal travel radius, and any fee for the farther corners of the region is confirmed upfront.
Ceremony Musician: Prelude, Processional & Recessional
I play twenty to thirty minutes of prelude music as guests are seated, the wedding-party processional, your aisle song, an optional interlude under a unity ritual or signing, and a recessional with real lift. Because it is live, each piece stretches or lands to the length of your aisle — vineyard rows and ranch lawns are often longer than couples expect. Spanish, Flamenco & Music for Bodas and Quinceañeras
The Inland Empire has a rich Latino community, and Spanish and flamenco guitar are among my most-requested styles here — for weddings, bodas, engagement parties and quinceañeras alike. I can move from soft classical Spanish pieces for formal moments to lively rumba and Gipsy Kings-style rhythms when it is time to celebrate, all from one instrument. Cocktail Hour, Dinner & Reception
After the ceremony the mood lifts: Spanish guitar and bossa nova keep guests mingling while you finish photos, soft jazz and mellow acoustic covers sit under dinner, and recognisable rock and pop arrangements come forward for the cake and first dance. For dancing, most Inland Empire couples hand off to a DJ after my set, which keeps the budget sensible on a long day. If you want more texture for a large reception, a duo with percussion or a trio with bass is available.
Wedding Musician Pricing in the Inland Empire
A solo wedding musician in the Inland Empire typically runs $400 to $1,500. Ceremony only usually lands between $400 and $600, ceremony plus cocktail hour between $600 and $950, and full coverage through dinner between $1,000 and $1,500. Travel to Temecula, Riverside, Redlands and the Ontario area is normally included; mountain and far-desert venues may carry a modest travel fee, always stated upfront. Outdoor Venues, Heat & Sound
Inland Empire weddings are mostly outdoors and often hot. Three things make the music work: a battery-powered speaker positioned toward the seats, shade for the performer during afternoon ceremonies — direct sun is hard on nylon strings — and a volume plan agreed with the venue in advance, since many wineries and ranches have cutoff times. I handle all three on the planning call so nothing is left to the day.
